The new Evolution profile incorporates alternating deep and shallow rim sections with alternating spoke sides. This arrangement allows steeper, high-tension spokes (drive-side rear spokes and disc-side front spokes) to connect to deeper rim sections, thereby reducing spoke angles. This adjustment in bracing angle helps to balance spoke tensions, resulting in a stiffer, more consistent wheel.
