The design also prevents brake pulsation, a common issue with rubber pads with the build-up of residue. The pads offer an assured traditional cork feel yet due to the carefully created shape and 0.5 millimetre greater overall thickness than most rubber carbon-specific brake pads they are also more durable and last longer.
